The Legendary Challenge in the Land of Peter Klepec

Osilnica, Slovenia’s smallest municipality by population, is best known for its folk hero — Peter Klepec, the symbol of strength and courage.
To bring his story to life, we began by researching local legends about his origins and then transformed them into animated characters that carry the tale into the digital world.

The story is divided into four thematic chapters:

1. Herbs
2. Relationships
3. Trees
4. History

Each theme was carefully researched to create quiz questions suited for primary school students, our main target audience.
After each animated segment, players face seven questions and one fun fact, helping them learn about Osilnica, its surroundings, and general knowledge in a playful and engaging way.

A Digital Quiz with a Competitive Twist

A dynamic map guides players through the game. To make the experience more exciting, participants are divided into two teams, each with its own symbol.
This introduces a competitive element — the desire to answer correctly grows with each round, and victory tastes even sweeter at the end.

From Digital to Physical Challenge

When the quiz ends, the digital winner is announced — but the adventure doesn’t stop there.
The total score from the quiz is converted into time, which each team can use to complete a real-world task inspired by the story’s themes.

Armed only with styrofoam and wooden sticks, the teams must complete their mission before time runs out.
Who will emerge as the true hero of Osilnica — the final winner of the legendary showdown in the land of Peter Klepec?
