A Magical Challenge for Young Explorers

The Adventure Quiz Through the Enchanted Forest invites all true adventurers to test how well they know nature and the hidden corners of Slovenia.

The Enchanted Forest is a fairy-tale world of magic and imagination, located on Hom Hill above Zasip near Bled.
With a backpack and an adventure booklet in hand, visitors — especially children — embark on a 2.2 km fairytale trail, meeting elves, fairies, and woodland creatures along the way.

From August to November 2022, the forest’s physical adventure was enriched with a new digital addition — a playful online quiz created by the Escapebox team.
Through charming illustrations, visitors answered questions about Vintgar Gorge, Slovenia’s highest river waterfall, and the wildlife and nature of Slovenia, as well as stories from the Enchanted Forest itself.

At the end, players earned one of four titles based on their score:

• Hunter of Knowledge – for those who truly mastered nature, animals, and Slovenia.
• Passionate Adventurer – for those with plenty of knowledge, but just a little short of perfect.
• Persistent Explorer – for players who answered at least three questions correctly.
• Curious Wanderer – for those just beginning their discovery of Slovenia’s hidden wonders.

At the close of the quiz period, three lucky winners received special prizes — a wolf-themed bracelet, necklace, or the picture book The Journey of the Little Wolf.

The Story of the Enchanted Forest

For centuries, the Enchanted Forest has been home to peaceful animals and magical creatures. But recently, thieves and bandits have taken over, causing trouble for both forest dwellers and the nearby village of Zasip.

The biggest threat is the mysterious leader of the bandits, whose name remains unknown.
It’s up to the children — the forest’s newest heroes — to uncover his identity and report him to the Forest Police!

By solving challenges and collecting clues, players climb through the Enchanted Forest and reveal the secret name of the leader, completing their magical quest.
