We first tested this recommendation format with Braun in the BigBang.si online store, helping users find the most suitable grooming device. Positive feedback showed that people want personalized, simple, and practical solutions.

 

Building on this, we brought the idea to tourism. Everyone knows the feeling of wanting to go somewhere new but struggling to find a fresh idea. This tool solves that.

How It Works

Users answer quick questions such as:

• What type of activity they are looking for
• Who they are traveling with
• Whether they want a “photogenic” / Instagrammable spot
• If they’d like food & drink nearby

The algorithm then searches through a pool of 50 destinations and activities, tagged and categorized, to suggest the best fit.

 

Destination Display

We focused on making results clear and visually engaging:

• Icons show who the destination is suitable for (families, couples, accessible, pet-friendly, etc.).
• Overlay graphics highlight main features (romantic, adventurous, cultural).
• Sliders explain qualities such as difficulty, popularity, and photo appeal.

Every recommendation includes:

• Suitability for children, families, wheelchair access, or pets
• Whether it’s Instagram-worthy
• Food & drink availability nearby
• Difficulty of access
• Outdoor vs. indoor activity
• Romantic or adventurous elements

Users can then click for more details, book directly, or call the provider.
